i used to play wurm and loved it so much, sadly i haven't found any good alternatives, but Mortal online is somewhat similar to wurm.

I used to play Wurm Online because I love games where you can craft and build. I just loved going out to the forest to gather wood and then go mining for iron so I could make planks and nails to build myself a small hut. Then plant some crops and make a fire so I could cook myself up some food.
But one thing always made me quit the game eventually. Other people. I just want to build and survive on my own, I dont want people coming round to start fights or to pick my locks and steal all my stuff. I know they introduced a non-pvp server, which I played on for a while, but there is still a lot of people stealing from each other.
Does anyone know of a game with this level of construction and crafting that is single player? Or at least one that has no stealing or PvP.
And no, minecraft and terraria don't count, they don't have the level of detail I'm after, I'd prefer something with RPG aspects where you need to practice a skill to get better at it, so you can make better things.
EDIT: Thanks for the suggestions guys, got some interesting games to look at.
