Samosa (is made of potato)
I used to enjoy Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, but now I only have digital copies of either.

Friend of mine went to US a while back, he gifted me a stack of his Pokemon cards because he knew I used to play the game back in the heyday of Generation I. I'm not really sure about all the Gen IV+ legendaries like Kyurem or Landorus but I remember Palkia from D/P/Plat, Raikou from HG/SS and of course the starter Venusaur and Eeveelution Vaporeon. The others are the common types like Pachirisu, Noctowl

When I played with those cards, it was all gen 1. :D

Yu-Gi-Oh!, I think it's the most played TCG in Indonesia, or at least in my neighborhood, than the other 2 mentioned above.

I actually did some research and found out Duel Masters and M:TG were made by the same company, but because of M:TG's popularity and the comparatively lesser known Duel Masters, plus the poor performance of the DM anime led to them doing away with DM for worldwide audiences and restricted themselves to Japan where it's still alive and kicking

I used to play MtG 4th and 5th edition, then 9th when it came out. Still have a little deck stored away somewhere :D Good times!

I believe I'll have to start M:TG, it still is available in some local shops and I have no shortage of friends! Plus it'll be a throwback - I love Duel Masters a lot but it has aged and not many friends are familiar with it, plus it's unavailability means it's time to give it up for good and keep those cards as a collector's memento :(

keep those cards as a collector's memento :(
We can consider ourselves lucky that we have those physical cards! I used to play MtG:Online for about a year and when I gave up (horrible, horrible client!) I realised I was basically left with nothing but a bunch of database entries corresponding to the virtual cards and virtual sealed packs that are still left in my account to collect virtual dust. Not cool.

MTG.
I estimate I have between 3000 and 4000 cards from Ravnica and up and around 500 from earlier sets
Never got into any other TCG's
Only occasionally play though, maybe a day or 2 a year and only boosterdrafts really

holy shit, that's pretty cool! I used to have a lot of all the popular card games, even that brief Spiderwick Chronicles TCG McDonalds was distributing for promotion, but I lost almost all when I shifted :/ I was pretty happy to discover that at least my Duel Masters collection was intact, and MTG is always available in local shops so I figure I'll go buying them soon!

Yu-Gi-Oh! was really popular among my friends. Back in the day, we would sometimes go to each other houses just to play the game. But I never really heard of bot MTG and Duel Masters. Guess they were not really popular in my region.

Goblin rush? This is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of aggro decks. Fucking hated them.

close enough i managed to get a lot of cards wich have 0 mana cost xD and some spells wich only cost 1 that allow me to buy cards so in a good hand i'll have 1 mana 1 spell and the rest creatures wich i'll just put on the table without mana xD then add mana and play spell and get more creatures... so yeah

I dug into my cellar today and found a shit load of Duel Masters cards. Man, I loved that game back when it was really popular and the anime used to air. Now they've stopped all sales except in Japan. I'm pretty sure some cards I have were the most important/essential characters of their respective elements in the anime! I also found a couple of Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering cards, but I didn't really play them much so I can't say anything about them. What about you? Which game did you like best? And post pictures if you still have your cards!
