For those who want to try out something online and miss their MTG past, try out HEX: Shards of Fate.
It has basically the same playstyle + a few new interesting mechanics.

Was playing both Yu-Gi-Oh but later changed to MTG (and gave away most of my Yu-gi-oh cards to freinds who still played it at that time). Collection ranges from the Onslaught block to Shards of Alara but then stopped at some point. Still have a little collection and some ready-to-play decks (even though the last time I played was probably around 3 or 4 years ago). Once or twice a year I just look trough my remaining cards and build a deck for fun and play against myself cause no one I know around here plays it anymore D:
Edit: oh yeah ... collected Pokemon cards too in the beginning (was like 10 or smth) but just to collect - not to play (got some of my rare ones still around somwhere ranging from the 1st Edition up to ...Fossil 2 or smth like that)

holy fucking shit mate, that's an incredible collection! I feel the need to check out the Yu-Gi-Oh anime now though, because I never really got into it unlike MTG which I simply didn't play that much because I had too few cards at the time. I'll be looking into both soon hopefully

I coulnd't bother with the anime at some point ... the cards they play are just ...ugh... so bad it's cringeworthy how they announce them like

for trading/collectible card games, there are so many Free2play online titles to satisfy my need (Duelyst for example) and many others I coulnd't try for now because of my giant backlog

I used to play some Yu-Gi-Oh, I still have them and some Duel Master cards somewhere.

I enjoyed the older Yu-Gi-Oh, but as time went by, the series and card game began to feel boring and stale. Older Yu-Gi-Oh! FTW, but in current states, I'd have to go with Magic: The Gathering. Dueling on motorcycles, what the hell?

I dug into my cellar today and found a shit load of Duel Masters cards. Man, I loved that game back when it was really popular and the anime used to air. Now they've stopped all sales except in Japan. I'm pretty sure some cards I have were the most important/essential characters of their respective elements in the anime! I also found a couple of Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering cards, but I didn't really play them much so I can't say anything about them. What about you? Which game did you like best? And post pictures if you still have your cards!
