Hello
I entered multiple mass giveaways of the same game and I've won two of them within 3 days of each other.
I notified the creator of the second giveaway that I already won a key but he is not responding to me on steam.
What should I do? How else can i contact him?

You're not the first one to have won more than one game from the same mass giveaway. If they don't respond, your only option is to mark one as "not received" and hope that they notice at some point.

You can also post in one of his giveaways (but probably he won't read it either). Just mark as not received (when you can) and forget about it. For now there is nothing else you can do.
EDIT: by 7 seconds -.-

Developers giveaways. Keys are automatically sent when it's over and the creator doesn't care about requesting rerolls.

No, winning two games at more or less the same time is not against the rules, but if you win more than one, you must contact the GA creator and try and make them re-roll. You can't mark both as received, that would be against the rules

Eh, the fact that OP did not break any rules, despite getting 2 keys sent? I wonder if you even read my post...

Key giveaways for 50 copies or greater will be automatically distributed to the winners, while giveaways with less than 50 keys will allow you to review the winners before the keys are sent.

They keys have already been sent. At this point the creator should request a reroll, but, since they are not obligated by the rules to do so, they simply won't bother.

Yes, he'd send it automatically

I entered both giveaways and I won one of them. I activated the key, but never thought I would get so lucky as to win the second, so I never left the other giveaway.

lol. Leave giveaways you've already won - you can save some hassle for the creator and yourself, and also, you get back your points! :)

Wait 7 days and if they still haven't responded, mark it as not received.

you should uncheck the "received" box for the last gift you won, because right now your profile looks like you won multiple times.

He already marked it as not received. It shows on your wins list regardless. Mines the same.

i just tried it and it works.

you get a notification for the win but there's no track of it in your profile, which means you are clean.

Tbh, it would be about time SG got some more rules for devs giveaways imho :S Those kind of threads pop up every other day. -.-

Same here but with the Overture giveaway from the dev.
1 member of support wrote me this:

Please post in the giveaway asking for a reroll. If a reroll does not occur within a week, you can mark the gift "Not Received" but do not use/give away/etc the key in case the reroll happens in the future.

Please note this, bno1!

The devs told me that can't do a reroll unless the winner explicitly says they want one, in the giveaway thread.

After that, the giveaway creator can create a support ticket asking for a reroll.
Until they do, you just have to mark 'not received' and wait :X

Thanks for the info Sooth.
Is hard to contact with him? (The dev of Overture)

If that account belongs to the main Black Shell Media guy, I actually have them on my Steam contacts (he chats on Groupees a lot), so no, not particularly, for him specifically. (Also note they can be contacted on Facebook, here: https://www.facebook.com/blackshellmediallc )

But as a general rule for these large giveaways- yes. Even the developers with the best-intentions seem to have problems keeping up with responses on them. And then, flip side, some of the 'developer' status people on here have some rather duplicitous approaches to things.

Then when it comes to reporting it- no real loss I can tell to just leaving it as 'not received' for an extended time; but at the same time, the SG staff have been notoriously itchy-trigger-finger in the past when it comes to suspensions, so even if you ARE safe, it doesn't really feel like it.

So definitely, the whole system could be improved.. but given that SG staff hasn't even responded to our requests to keep the site rules/guidelines/faq updated, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Till something changes, bulky as they are, threads like these seem the safest way to hedge your bets.

lol, Seems like you have the same problem that I faced once ( Though in my case it was a giveaway I won on an another site, it was around the time when there was a glut of Insurgency giveaway and I won it on Gameminer). What I did after speaking with the support staff here, was get in touch with the giveaway creator ( don't worry about how long it takes, it is a long process after all ) and then through him, asked the support to re-roll for a new winner as I have already won the game in an another site.

Don't mark the giveaway as received or not received, just let the support know about the situation and work with them.
