I used to have a wonderful ratio of the value given/won, until I became level 4 and got some awesome wins. (;-;)
Getting up to a high level, doing puzzles and looking out for trains increases your chances tenfold, I think!

Do you only enter public giveaways with hundreds and even thousands of entrants? That would be why.

Yeah it's completely random. Entering public giveaways though yields the worst results, if you start joining mass giveaways or private giveaways or group giveaways or simply higher level giveaways you're more likely to win, since there's less competition.

I just made a giveaway and right after that I won a game on my wishlist. Maybe there is something to what they are saying (Karma or something) I'm not preaching because I need to get my ratio up. I'll be working on it.

I won a microwave from playing an online pong game when I was 12.
As for SG, it's just the way it goes sometimes in a truly random system. I was here 10 days before my first win but I know others waited longer than that and some less. I had a nice chunk of wins in December including winning 3 games in a 24 hour span and now I haven't won anything in about 2 weeks. Though, I have slowed down on my entries and GA stalking so I'm not really surprised. Just don't fret about it and have some fun here in the community while you wait for your ship to come in :)
