em, dude, 3d modeling for games is very different from architecture or interior modeling. There is a approximate polygon/vertices number in each scene. That number is certain and limited for most of player's computers to run at 60fps. So as far as I know, 3d game modelers have to be well balanced in visual and modeling level. It basically needs both high poly(for normal and bump texture baking) and low poly model(for in game use). I have experience in architecture and interior modeling. But I never created any normal and bump texture by myself. so maybe I could help you in some part but I don't know.

I really hope you are going to be more nice and straightforward (and especially realistic) to a possible modeler and not give false hope to him/her as it does seem you have been doing to other people.
