Im sorry if this is a commonly known bug but im sorta new to this page :/
Could someone explain it to me?

Was it a public or private giveaway? If it was private, were there any special rules on the giveaway? The only way that should happen is a) you didn't meet the rules of a private giveaway and the creator asked for a reroll, b) there was something wrong with the giveaway itself (the creator didn't understand how the site worked, the creator selected the wrong game, etc.) and requested the giveaway be deleted, or c) you already owned more than half of the bundle and the creator requested a reroll.

Edit to add c).

Rules aren't enforceable on public giveaways. If someone gets a custom rule approved by support for a private giveaway they can request a reroll if the rules aren't met. I think -- that's how it used to work at least.

This is incorrect, the staff removed that functionality when the site switched over to its current iteration. Special rules are no longer enforceable by any means other than use of your blacklist.

Ah cool, that's why I haven't seen any in a while. Thanks for the info.

I thought support doesn't enforce private giveaway rules,
They enforce giveaway link leaking, and as such have declared that SGTools filters are enforceable, since they're a verifiable way of determining leaks.

Anything not related to link leaking isn't enforceable.

I guess the GA creator rerolled it based on the "Majority of bundle exists in their account" reason.

Hopefully the creator said something to that effect in the giveaway itself, or it's on them.
But yeah, seems the likely explanation.

I usually ask, if it's not stated, since creators do forget to specify from time to time.

Oh, fair point. Same thing I do, and I've noticed most everyone else do.
Well, if the creator didn't reply to such, then (and assuming they had time to), would be the only time it falls on them :/
Does bug me a bit if I don't get a reply on it over several days, but I just end up not entering at all in that case, to avoid any issues. :)

Try to refrain from entering giveaways for packs if you already own the majority of the games contained within. The giveaway creator may request a new winner if you own a high percentage of the packaged games.

i didnt check your profile for dlc, but you do own JC2

Creator could have rerolled because you already have Just Cause 2, maybe?

Uh... i dont know. It was on normal "new" page and i just randomly entered like every other giveaway. other than that there was a button leading me to the page where they are selling it.

It doesn't actually matter how much you own (as long as you own something from the pack), it's up to creator to decide if to request a reroll or not.

If the GA had already ended, there is no way for the gifter to delete the giveaway without the giftee's concern. My guess is the creator of the GA asked for a reroll because OP already owns Just Cause 2 in their acc, and especially if the giveaway creator specifically asked not to enter if users already owned a game from the bundle.
