Metro 2033 is the only one I haven't played from these three. I put quite a few hours into SR3 and I put tons of hours into Darksiders on Xbox (and I also won it for PC). Darksiders controls on PC are kind of difficult to get used to, so I recommend using a controller.
Season pass for Saints Row 3 really depends on whether or not you want to invest more time into the game for the DLC. Personally I wasn't too fond of the DLC for it, the base game is wonderful though.
For me, Darksiders is at the top of the list between your three choices. It's honestly one of my favorite games and I highly recommend getting it if you've never played it.
You also have this option, if you didn't see it already: Clicky
Just over 9 dollars with the discount code.

Thank you, good sir, for saying this. As a result of your comment, I immediately went and purchased the THQ 5-Pack for $9.37 USD after using the voucher. A damn steal, I think, at that price.

Absolutely! A number of the games by themselves, without discounts, cost more than the price that the pack is currently. Pack contains quite a few excellent games as well, so that's definitely another plus!

Metro I guess. Darksiders and SR3:SP have both been $5 (in the case of Darksiders, many, many times).
And yes, the THQ 5-pack is pretty damn good value.

^ This exactly. Wait for a better sale on Darksiders and SR3:SP and grab either Metro or the THQ 5-Pack if you can (it includes Metro anyway). But do definitely grab Darksiders eventually. I really liked what I've played of it.

Overrated?
36.5 hrs is an awful lot of time to beat a linear game multiple times, also you play CoD

And? Metro is certainly not as good as people make it to be. And COD? Well, gee, if HighRez didn't screw up entire Tribes, I wouldn't be playing it. But no... they screw it up hard and I'm currently not in the mood for picking up, some ambitious, hard shooter, seeing Torchlight 2 and XCOM right around the corner - it's a dumb entertainment, where I can jump in, kill a bunch of dudes and feel good about it, without spending hours to learn the soddin' game and rules.
You want to know what I don't like about Metro?
I don't like the pacing of the game and it's scripting - it shares actually quite many similarities with COD... where you're either waiting for some bot to open the door for you or some other event to happen.
I don't like shooting mechanics, damage model, enemy AI and game's difficulty - all combined... unless fighting demons, there isn't much point in using weapons - just slash them with knife... playing Ranger Hardcore, I literally killed more enemies with knife, than normal weapon. I don't like the default FOV and the artifacts you get, after changing it (oh look, a game with FOV as low as in CODMW2) to a reasonable value. Ah, right - link to a Steam forum about changing FOV in Metro 2033... don't play a game without it - you'll get a headache.
Want to know the reason why I spent so many hours playing? I was hunting for stupid achievements and finally working on making stupid achievement guide. But then - I've dumped 27hrs in DNF... that's an awful lot of time to beat a linear game :P
Back to a topic - on a good side, despite problems with uneven texture quality, the game looks really nice. The storyline is quite interesting and there is some great atmosphere in game. Unless you're going to end up laughing on quite bad voice-acting. With that said and all my bitching - it is still a shooter slightly above-average shooter, definitely worth these $3... which may leave you with a thing or two to think about, if you decide to dig deep enough (-> moral points)... that is not an element commonly seen in shooters.

If the DLC's are extremely discounted, go for it. In my honest opinion, they aren't really worth it. The base game however, is tons of fun and you'll get hours of enjoyment out of it. Try and find a friend to play it with as well! Co-op is quite hilarious.

Honestly, I think it would be better to purchase it now. It's 75% off on Greenmangaming, plus the extra discount code makes it even cheaper. Total comes to around $7.50. The only thing is that I'm not sure if the price will drop by the winter sale. You'd definitely be saving a bit more now however if the price doesn't drop.

Buy the base game now for $7.50 .. it's worth every penny and I doubt it will go lower than that on a steam sale. The DLCs are a rip off, wait for the winter sale if you must buy them. I recall the season pass being for $4.99 and it's still a lot of money for so little but that's subjective.

GMG has a THQ special going on with Metro 2033 for $3 (on the 15th), Saints Row 3 season pass for $6 and Darksiders 1 for $6 - all after their 25% off coupon has been applied. I can buy two of these .. which ones should I get? I don't have any store credit so no freebies for me. Thanks :)
