As said in the title :/

" Humble Games was reportedly closed down this morning, and its 36-person staff was laid off entirely. "

it is related to Humble Bundle though, as an indie publisher owned by HB.

they've actually published quite a few gems and recognizable games https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/HumbleGames

I hope this means there's still hope for the games to keep coming, there's a couple ones that i actually wanted to see released, like Never Alone 2

Their statement says that no project is affected by that process.

This is quite sad, but it's to be expected in the years to come. We've seen layoffs by now, so it's very possible we'll continue to see more in the future.

Humble Bumble in URL lol

I think most of the games they choose to publish are pretty good. I generally do not pick up their games on Steam outside of bundles, though, since they are among the most likely candidates for bundling.

"Not closed", just fired all the stuff, remaining games will be finished and released by a 3rd party publisher, and they won't be taking new projects... yeah ok, sounds like they aren't closed alright.

The only reason they aren't closing is to keep the income coming from the already released games, instead of transferring them to the original developers.
