Because it was a forum thread where he announced the private giveaway giving guest passes. i just entered for that guest pass hoping to finally win something. I entered a Diablo II guest pass giveaway, I won a guest pass...why not mark it as received. Anyway i was new to Sg at that time.

If you knew it was a gift pass giveaway, why call the guy a "bastard"? Anyways I'm not a pro on SG's FAQ, but I don't think you can give away guest passes OR non-steam games other than Minecraft or BF3. Not your fault, but what's not allowed, isn't allowed.
