It's "free play days", Xbox's equivalent to steam's free weekends, not full game. (Thought even these are usually for Gold's only).

If you had to your hotmail accounts it adds it for later . I'm going get my son Xbox one for xmas so this is extra for him. I hope it stays there til I get him the system. Thanks for the information

Pretty sure its only free until the 30th of October, after that then its gone? Xbox also has free multiplayer around these days as well

Xbox multiplayer features and The Handsome Jack Collection are free for the weekend. If you want to keep them after that, you have to buy them.

You can still get it even if you don't have a Xbox. You just can't play it until you get a Xbox, though. So if you did eventually get one in the future or something.

Tried it myself, worked like a charm. Non-owners can even add it to your account in case you get an Xbone later on.
Includes BL2 + Pre-Sequel.
