Vitamin C, chicken soup, (yup it does work. Get it from Chinese place), green tea, lots, and lots, of rest, cold vaporizer too. Just water.

Sorry to say it, but Vitamin C is one of those known "Does not work beyond placebo" kind of deals, as long as you get enough of it. It's even known who started the myth, and interestingly enough, the institute that was named after him (Linus Pauling Institute) that disproved his ideas about eating more vitamins than needed being better.

It's funny as only primates, few fish and guinea pigs can't produce vit C on their own and have to intake it via food.
And you'd have to eat ridiculous amount to overdose it. So even if it won't really help you, placebo effect is maybe worth it in like small children (same as it's enough to magically blow some air at their wounds and it stops to sting).

Stroh 80° or rum + warm water and sugar/honey or some warm red wine.
Drink regular non light coca cola that has been extinguished by pouring it into a glass and leaving it for a while to keep your electrolytes up and to have some fluids in to you.
Ask your Doctor for a few Temesta or Seresta pills to help you sleep the first nights, this really helps I know.
Rest and sleep as much as possible.

Warm milk and honey, not exactly a cure, but soothes a sore throat. Get well soon.

Honestly, nothing actually helps. Your immune system should be enough to fight a mere cold. If you get a high fever, just take febrifuge, but avoid medicine in general, if you don't need it desperately. Medicine only makes you addicted to it and makes microorganisms even stronger. If you eat healthy food in general, then I doubt you will have a problem. But don't think that, if you just suddenly start taking vitamins and such things just to fight the cold, it will help you at all - because it won't. Just avoid doing many things and you'll get well in no time. As long as you don't get tired in some way, your body will use the energy in order to fight the cold. ;P

So, I caught myself a cold and now I sit here being ill.
Does anyone know a good cure?
Edit: Made myself a asparagus soup (didn't had any chicken) and a tea. Thank you all for the support :)
Edit II: After my first night I'm feeling a bit better, but still not cured. Thanks for all your tips^^ Helped a lot
