Verify game cache?
If no, delete complete GTA IV folder?

Steam support will probably help you more than we ever can. Or check the Steam Forums (not the Community Hub Discussions, because that place is a mess).

I bought gta iv when it was on the summer sale. I installed it and then when it was done, it went to thhe updating screen on the steam library and stayed at 99% when i pressed continue update, it went to 100% and then back to 99. If i try to just press play, it says something like: cannot start game; error when reading from the disc.
Help?
(And yes i have tried to install it several times, same thing always. And i have tried to delete the appcache file in my folders and restarting steam. And nothing.)
