the person who received your key, possibly got confused and checked the wrong box. :( Maybe they were in a hurry, or a language barrier. Can you contact them ?

Did you check to see if they have the game in their steam library?

The person does not have the game in their library, but it could easily be sold or given to someone else, I cant check if the key is still valid otherwise i would be using it.

Just contact the winner. Someone did that one time because my mail has probably gone to spam (and it's one example...). If it's still not mark not received, contact the support.

I have dilemma - won a giveaway that someone had accidentally created 2 of. I did not get said gift, but was offered a choice of others instead. I still got a game I really wanted and a bonus movie, but their value did not add up to the amount of the giveaway. I still haven't marked the gift as received or not received as I don't beleive either to be apt. Is it possible to just never choose one?
