wait, the playfire bundle doesnt give CV? so why do people do GAs on these?

Maybe they think they are creating point sinks. I think there should be a freebie section where these types of games are allowed and give/cost 0 points. This would help those who didn't have access to some of these free games.

Ya, recently was told about that site from a friend, but the 0 cost ones usually have a ton of people. I am also referring to games that were taken off the list a while back but their free promotions are over so they are no longer common.

maybe you still get game slot after 3 giveaways, and it will show you sent ga numbers , so 0,00 cv is starting to get regular here

i was wrong. they get CV. some have reached level 4-5 by just doing that. giving 1 free copy of free game(which is OKAY -mod). only giving away multiple copies of free game is suspend-able offense. they do get to keep the achieved high level though when they rejoin site after suspension.

You're not mistaken, 5 copies of "Rooms" take you from 0 to level 3 directly, for free. A lot of guys are reaching level 4-5 easily with this method, and the mods don't (and will not) do anything to stop this.

You don't need more than 10 minutes to create 5 accounts on Steam to redeem all the keys.

Wait you are saying you never did? Only way it couldn't be abused in this way is if the change was delayed by a few days that way new bundles/free games would never temporarily allow someone to join giveaways they shouldn't be capable of.

not the giveaways i just looked at cv/level , how many comments in how much time.(registered). didn't feel need to scroll down look up created giveaways.

You don't need to scroll down just look at the giveaways you can already see when opening profile(my resolution isn't that big and I can see 3) as in pretty much all cases it will be obvious in those.

Guys, you really need to stop all this drama. As soon as Shobo gets to it all those exploiters will lose their CV as these changes work retroactively, meaning that Shobo gets to set the date when the games became free and they will have 0 value. There will always be people exploiting the CV system, but in most cases they end up with their exploited CV gone and even banned in some cases.

You are wrong, GMG freebies never get 0 value retroactively. I can't post profiles because it is against the rules but It's easy to find members with a lot of free games from both Christmas promotion and this last one with level 3-4-5 (only with free games gifted).

Cheating this way turns CV system useless.

that's right. that's what deltabladex did. created a discussion under deals to let every1 know there's a free game available.
on the other hand , some people are creating multiple accounts to get keys and then create giveaways of the said keys. what do you think leads to such behavior? generosity n kindness of their soul?

Yeah I totally agree with ya.What I mean is that even if these guys are wrong,we shouldn't be disturbed coz its nothing against the spirit of sharing.And since there's no cv, there isn't a problem of exploiting.I say just let them be.

problem is there is CV.. they are even getting non-bundled full price CV for one game - rooms..and mods attitude is "it's not that important. other peoples CV shouldn't matter to you. " what's the use of implementing level n CV system if it can be easily exploited

Perhaps people just like sharing. I already have my account linked to Playfire and don't feel like setting up an extra account just for the games. But I'm glad people are giving them away, because I wouldn't mind winning The Rooms.
