Time is not the only important factor, but also number of entries (you don't have all that many) and also the kind of GAs that you're able to enter. The higher your level, the more GAs are available to you, and the GAs with high levels on them have fewer entries. Getting from level 0 to level 1 is a big jump in number of GAs available to you, and it's a jump that anyone can make (get some cards, sell them, buy a cheapo game, give it away, congrats you're level 1).
Of course, unless you're level 8-10, then the odds of winning a public GA still tend to be really low, like in the 0,1% region.

How many giveaways you've entered? Remember that usually chances of winning is like 1 to 1000 or 2000. With more popular and expensive games it's much more. Also, you should consider leveling up. And to do that, you need to create giveaways yourself.
