oh god yes it is. Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy was amazing. far better than its spiritual sequel Heavy Rain

I knew, but it's not my style to buy games on sale :D

Steam's Indigo Prophecy is the censored version of Fahrenheit. Since this is not the kind of game that you would install/uninstall very often, and AFAIK has no achievements or cloud support, I strongly recommend getting Fahrenheit (for example from GOG), even if Indigo Prophecy was available on Steam.

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy so awesome for it's time.

That is true. My friend didn't like it, but I think part of it was some of the complex grammar and imagery portrayed by the author.

It would be worth even 15 if you asked me, it's one of my all-time favourites.

ia ctually enjoyed Fahrenheit more than heavy rain. In heavy rain some scenes are hidden from you so you can't see who the serial killer is and it's endings barely change while in Fahrenheit you have 4 completely different endings (at least i found 4).

It starts incredible but sadly doesn't continue that way. Be ready for a few hours of amazing followed by a confused mess.

Sadly, yes, it looks like one of those "my dog ate the last twenty pages of script" cases.

It's hard to talk about that without spoiling the [confused mess of an] ending.
@ the OP...
+1 to the ending not living up to the rest of the game.
However, I love the rest of the game. so yes, if you don't mind that style of gameplay (quick-response button presses meant to mirror the actions and mood/pace of the character you're playing), then yes, get it. On my budget, and as old as it is, I'm not sure if it's worth $6, but definitely worth it at around $4. I bought it from Steam in 2008 for $7.50 (after having already played it outside of Steam).

yup, I didn't like at all the second part of the game and the endings, sorry to say it, but half game is total bullshit.
It started so awesome, great plot, great dialogues, but in the end SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER yay matrix fights in the air, no thanks.
edit: but still, yes it's worth buying, it's a good game I just got mad at the second part of it, because it could have been a masterpiece :I

those fights you refred in spoilers were more or less expected due to the supernatural "events" that occur during the game. if you don't like them i can see that the ending would not be as good as teh rest of the game. for me the game was excellent and i wished heavy rain would be similar.my wishes were answered with their new game. i enjoy a "supernatural power" in these games.

I bought it on gog about a year ago I think its a great game wtih a good story. I can only complain about a few mechanics that are some crap like when you have to to push a sequence of buttons that represents certain colors to deal with the characters mood swings (well thats what i call it anyway).

I've heard about this game when it was released, but was never interested; now I found this game on GOG.com, and now thinking whether it's worth 6$? Has anyone played it?
