Plentiful Paradox Bundle from amazon included SotS2 and it cost about 12.5$ I believe? Included were SotS Complete, Crusader kings 2, Magicka collection and so on.

No idea on X superbox :3

SotS: Lords of Winter according to reviews sucks. Not because its that BAD, just tons of glitches and bugs. May want to get it if it looks interesting to you, they have to be patched out eventually. As for the X games, I got X3: Terran Conflict. Looks real cool to me.

X Series is awesome. spent 400+ hours on X2, and am now getting settled into X3: Reunion. great game

Yup. I'm missing only Reunion, but after having played TC and AP for so long, going to an earlier installment doesn't look that attractive. I mean, X or X2 are different, but Reunion is actually very similar to TC/AP, only "smaller". So I guess that for me, the storyline would be the only reason to get it (other than completing the collection :-]).

Reunion, which was actually originally meant to be an extension to X2 became the basis for Terran Conflict which is basically based on a mod, and AP.

From all the screens and ideas we see from X : Rebirth, this new game (maybe series) within the same Xverse might become something great and even more unique.

X: rebirth seems like thy got all the best parts from X2, and X3: terran conflict, added little more advanced technology (multi core support...), and put it all together. I have high expectations.

X series is excellent choice if you like games with numerous possibilities, some of which takes over hundreds of hours to unlock.

There's a nice nod to that part in Albion Prelude: [MINI-SPOILER WARNING] you are asked to remove several tons of microchips that were only taking up space there. :-)

The SotS sale INCLUDES the original. If yer gonna get anything, get the original, but you gotta actively search it out, it's not on the page.

This. Even without the bugs, SotS2 is worse than the original. It looks pretty as hell, but that's about it unfortunately. The first SotS is a great game though and certainly worth buying if you like 4X games.

I actually have an X Superbox in my inventory from before the summer sale. I could be convinced to put it up here, since I've got a huge backlog of games as it is. I'll have to think about that. :D

Do remember X games recquire you to invest a few dozen hours to get to a point of being able to do what you want.

This would be why I'm considering putting it up instead of adding all of them to my own library.
