GTA IV vs. Saints Row 3 vs. Sleeping Dogs

I've played GTA IV and SR3.

I like GTA IV because it has a good story and good character developement.

I like SR3 because it is more action packed(Meaning, more shootouts) and has more "RPG" elements like character and weapon upgrades.

Sleeping dogs would be my guess, but gta is always fun. I myself did not like Saints Row that much.

Personally, I prefer Saints Row 3 over GTA IV.

GTA IV got a meh story, and most of the missions are "Drive there, chase that guy, kill that guy"

It should have been caled true crime : hong kong but they give the game to another devlopers

i dont remmmber the full srtory though...

My point is that sleeping dogs is a combination of assasins creed and gta iv...a lot of cool movie scenes

I dont know anything about SD,so I will ignore it for now.
I have 4 GTA Games for my PS2 and I loved them all.But I dont like GTA IV,I dont know why,but I loved Saints Row 3.Also,in the end there is something very cool(I dont want to spoiler it)

Personally, GTA 4 is boring as fuck. Put me off open world games for a while...

Saints Row The Third is so much fun, but you might not like the story seeing as it's less serious than any other open world crime game out there. The game is seriously insane though, really good core gameplay.

Sleeping Dogs is looking to take open world games to a new level with a lot of new features not seen in the genre before. There are too many things to mention them all here!

Basically, choose between a banana boat Russian, a dominatrix, or a mixed martial arts pro. It's not difficult in that context :P

i liked SR3 action and missions very much... but i havent played gta 4

Over the top action = Saints Row: The Third.

Realistic, mods = Grand Theft Auto IV

SR3=Stupid

It doesn't stick to it's franchise, maybe if it had a new name I would of liked it

I can't say anything about Sleeping Dogs.
Out of the other two games, I prefer SR3. It's just a lot more fun.
But if you can live with an less than optimal console port, get Saints Row 2 (last patch fixes many of the issues and combined with the Gentlemen of the Row mod most annoying things are gone). It has a great story, better characters and the world feels more alive and diversified. It's not as over the top as SR3 but it doesn't take itself too serious most of the time as well - f.ex. the police sidequest (completely gone in the third game) is hilarious.
SR3 feels a bit rushed and unfinished at times (sidemissions integrated into the mainstory in a very clunky way to make it longer, funny ideas for missions that already end before the idea really came to life,...). SR2 has a better mainstory, better sidemissions, the better world, more customisation but, as I said, is an awful consol port, it has clunky controls and worse graphics.

Gta San Andreas > porn > Gta 4 = saints row 3

Sleeping dogs cuz you can do some crazy stuff that's cooler than GTA and more realistic than SR3.

Just to be completely different... Just Cause 2. ;)

Skyrim. Horses > Cars

If you already played 300+ Hrs of Skyrim, then go for GTA San Andreas or Vice City.
