Some people also blacklist once someone wins, to give others a better chance at winning their future giveaways.

It was a whitelist giveaway. Are you sure that the creator didn't just remove you from his whitelist ? You can see his username on your won games page. You can check his other non-whitelist giveaways to check if I'm right. And then if indeed he did not blacklist you you will be able to add him on Steam and thank him personally.

Good point! Though I never really knew that was an option. Thanks for the tip :) Btw, what does ToD actually stand for? Fairly new to trading.

if you buy it from the market you will need to wait 7 days, then you can trade it. :3

Thanks. Wasn't complaining about the blacklist really. Just thought I should explain myself :)

Hi there. I'm the who did the ShipLord GA just now. I appreciate you took the time and trouble to create a thread just to say thank you and for that, I'll remove you from my blacklist (it's the SGTools thing, nothing personal, mind you). I guess everyone makes mistake from time to time :)
Anyways, enjoy the game and have a good week ahead!
P.S. You can clear your SGTools records by buying and activating the said non-activated win. Just something I've read in the Discussion :)

Hey! Glad you saw it :)
There was no hard feelings about the blacklist. Just thought I should explain the reason for the non-activated gift :)
Clearing the game from SGTools records is news to me as well, so I'll definitely be doing that asap!
Have fun :)

EDIT: The GA creator saw my post and replied so all is good :)
I just won ShipLord on a WL giveaway. Which is awesome! When I went back to the giveaway to leave a word of thanks I discovered that the creator had blacklisted me.
This is probably because I have one non-activated win on my account. In a moment of stupidity I accepted a replacement game for a giveaway that I won where the key didn't work. I regret doing that and received a suspension for it last year. I guess I was just too excited about receiving a game (any game). I will never do that again. I'll probably receive a few more blacklists for stating this on the forum and that's fine if anyone feels inclined to do so.
The real reason for this post is in the title. I always thank GA creators when I win a game and always add them on Steam to do the same personally. I'm always extremely grateful when a complete stranger gives me something for free (unless it's an STD)!
Thank you to whoever just gifted me ShipLord!! I'm sorry I can't remember your steam name. If I could, I would have added you on Steam to do this. I hope you read this post.
TL;DR
Thank you for ShipLord!
