I had Sega Mega Drive, but my mom threw it out since the adapter broke....If i wasn't 5 i would have known better then to let her, but i had PS1 so at that time i didn't care much

No, the majority of PS3 can't play PS2 games unlike your situation where the PS2 was able to play everything on the PSX.

I'd just emulate it nowadays, PS2 support has come a long ways.

Best PS2 console, after PSone and Nes course. Too bad she is gone, but its time has come. I do not regret that once bought it, as opposed to a bad ps3, which is sold in a couple of weeks. Sony ditched their offspring.

I don't have a ps2 anymore (sold it off) but it was a DAMN GREAT CONSOLE and you know what games need to be made for HD again for PS3 A LOT

I read this the other week :(

The PS2 was clearly doing something right as it spanned 12 years and so far it has been credited with being the best-selling console of all time. In the first three years that the PS3 was available the PS2 outsold it! I have three PS2s in my house. One was mine, one was my partners and one was a freebie from someone else. Also have two PS1s :3
