Roughly how far are you in the adventure?
I have to go shortly, so probably I wouldn't be able to find anything, especially that I used up all the hints I noted down and already checked the single place which I had some hopes to contain a passageway
Ps. Thank you for a great adventure

Didn't have time during the week and ended up spending around 5-6 hours in a last minute solving attempt. I think I delivered cake to IT, saw the trash, explored the alleyway. However, I still have a bunch if fragments which I have no idea how to fit them together. Oh, well. That was a fun ride

Loved the idea. Thanks for the great adventure even though I didn't end up winning anything. I didn't quite make it to the very end, but saw most of it I think (got to Management via IT cake bribery, but also explored the garage / alley... didn't figure out the second (and third?) keycard).
I was only working on it in the past 2-3 hours, so no bump earlier, sorry.

I just managed to get through to where you need to know the thief with one minute left. I kind of expected that there would be more giveaways on the way through without needing to solve all those at once. Clearly should have started maybe a day or more earlier. Not exactly difficult but very tedious, the parts I managed to see. Interesting writing and a good number of hours used to make, I believe, so thanks for that.
I actually tried this a few days ago already, but on mobile. That was a real pita and just not doable with any reasonable effort imo, so just gave up then. Without hover it's just too much work with all data on links and spoilers everywhere.

The Cake Factory, an interactive text adventure... [SGTools Lvl 2+]
A walkthrough for The Cake Factory has now been posted.
Although this topic is now closed, The Cake Factory adventure will remain available for the foreseeable future should you wish to play it.
The Cake Factory closed on Saturday, September 15th at 5:21 PM Pacific time!
If you're stuck on the thief puzzle, make sure to use the assistance of the ItsTooHard quiz (also linked from the comments in Orders & Fulfillment) as well as the table in Human Resources! If you've found the thief, but are stuck on the Supply Inventory puzzle, use the ItsTooHard puzzle again -- it identifies every item type of the items it asks about.
You can read more details about the event or the FAQ for the event (now including a list of games found inside the factory) in the first-post replies below.

An interactive text adventure...
Look > This appears to be some sort of puzzley giveaway event.
You vaguely recall that there are Guidelines about Entering these sorts of things and that leaking puzzle giveaways is a bannable offense.
You wisely decide never to do that.
