Might help if that wasn't the case though. :P

I mean if someone stumbles across a website that say that, they won't even visit the website to see the nice design. :P

What is your target viewer? What is your future website for? is it some kind of portfolio?
I'd like to suggest a clean, simple, and modern design. I personally like the new steam store to be honest. not everyone likes it but hey, you can't impress everyone.

This site is awesome...
xD
I know, shameless advertising, lol. Especially since we're not currently working on any projects. But yah, I didn't do this design myself, it was done by Zatoichi, however I like stuff like this, with a good theme, simple, yet flashy at the same time, without going to far in either direction.

No offense, but that looks like it was designed roughly 15 years ago or more, bevelled buttons like those was something that was used in the late 90s, but the overall structural design feels somewhere in the early to mid 00s. Plus the tables doesn't line up properly (in Firefox at least).

No offense taken, to each their own. The layout was actually designed 6 or 7 years ago, and I will agree the beveled buttons should be redesigned, but some people still like the style. However, it was just the layout I expected attention towards. Aside from that everything lines up fine for me in firefox, perhaps it's a difference in resolution, but I will actually bring that to the attention of the designer so he can look into it.

Here's a screenshot of how it looks for me. But now that I think of it, it's probably the script I have to download youtube videos that might be bugging it out since it puts a button below youtube videos. That should be fixable by making the iframes better scalable. Having them hardcoded can easily cause problems.

Oh yah, that looks all kinds of messed up. Might not be something you've done, he typically does more game design or freelance rendering/videos, so hiccups are bound to occur with web design since it's not something he does too often. So yah, I'll bring it up to him so he can look into the coding and run some other tests to see what may be causing the issue.

It could help if we could see your current website.

Do you want the site to be legible on mobile devices? Then you should be looking at responsive layouts.

GAs below for those in a hurry.
Hi guys,
I'm trying to redesign my personal website that details my services. I was hoping to get some suggestions from the community on freelancer/web developer sites they saw that impressed them. Please post the links so I can get ideas off of them. Thanks!
