[Suggestion] Private giveaways should be shown on gifters profile after it has closed

well im not web page maker but wouldnt that be a hassle to make(coming from the mouth of someone who never made a web page)

Yes is a good idea

They are shown on your profile. You cannot click on them or see who created the giveaway, though. This will not change.

I gave away a copy of Deus Ex by private giveaway, but it's not on my profile page.

No, for the same reason that they're now hiding the winners' names until gifts are received. All it leads to is people harassing the gifters to try and get free stuff, or begging to be let into later private giveaways.

I see no pros on this idea. Why would you want private giveaways to be seen by others. What good would this bring? The ability to show off and brag about your generosity? I've made private giveaways and I sure did not create them to boost my stats but instead to reward a few deserving members of this community. Would it provide better feedback on the credibility of the user if you could see their private giveaways? Hardly. It would only increase harassing nothing more. Maybe it could be implemented as an optional feature, however the opposite should also be implemented. The ability to hide private, group and even public giveaways from other members. If in the future the user needed to provide the list of their giveaways to anyone for whatever reason, they could link the URL to their profile page. I would definetly rather have this option than make my giveaways being publicly shown.
