Stronghold Crusader may be to your liking. Crusader Kings 2 is very popular now.

Mount and Blade Warband is my favorite :)

I recommend the Stronghold series.

Medieval 2: Total War - great game with many mods.

too many to mention.... perhaps the best, of course, being Medieval! Total War. dark messiah (fantasy too). fortix / fortix2. elven legacy. heroes of m&m fantasy.. most are fantasy mixed with medieval :p trine... legend of grimrock.. magicka even.. lol. as for pure medieval period, i think theyve mostly been mentioned. Pre-medieval period: Rune classic

Warcraft Series

I really enjoyed Fable 1 and The Witcher 1 / 2. Its fantasy (and not real world medieval (Fable 1 at least)) but fits into the medieval period nicely.
Age of Empires 2 was great too.
