Uplay Birth date question

Im in the process of making a Uplay account for Far Cry 3 and was wondering if I enter my birth date which is under 18 will it stop me from viewing/playing anything.

It's possible. Just like on the Steam store, if they ask for your age and you put in an age that's not yet 18, they don't let you access the store page for the game. :/

But it could be different.

Just enter a dummy one, why do they even need to know your bday?
