New steam update today/problem

Right after I restarted Steam for a new update earlier today, the total playtime for every game I have played in the past couple months was significantly reduced. For example, on CS:GO, I had 53 hours played. Now, in my games list (on my profile), it says I have 21 hours played. On Civ 5, I had 39 hours played, now it says I have less than an hour played. Anyone have any idea what is causing this? (I don't know if it shows up like this for everyone, I asked a friend to look and he said the playtimes matched what I said, however when I looked it still showed the reduced amounts).
