So, I did a few giveaways but my giveaway value is frozen at $30. How I can raise this limit? I did a quick search but couldn't find anything, if there is already something on this topic, can you link me to the post?

From the FAQ:

I created and completed a giveaway and the winner has marked it as received, but my contributor value isn't rising. Is there something wrong?

  • No, absolutely not. There're three reasons this might be happening. The first is simply solved by waiting. There is a delay of up to twenty minutes before your value changes and it will update shortly. The second is that single entry giveaways do not count towards your contribution value. Because they only got one entry, they are not considered as a raffle, but rather a direct gift. The other is due to having too many bundle games given away. Your contributor value will be locked until you submit further giveaways that are not from bundles and will continue to rise gradually until the full value has been reached. For more information on how values are calculated when bundle games are involved, please check this thread.

    • *

What does the asterisk (*) mean beside a game on the Create a Giveaway list?

  • An asterisk next to a game title on the Create a Giveaway list indicates that the game is included in the bundle list and thus you might not receive full contribution value for it. For more information please check this thread.

The last game I offered was not in a bundle, it ended a few days ago and it had ~1k entries. So I think that that section of the FAQ doesn't apply to me, so I had some doubts regarding this. Sorry for troubling you guys and thanks for the answers.

Chrome + SpecForce Bundle is marked as bundle game. you can see that it has an asterix when creating a new giveaway.

when you create a giveaway see if it has a * near it. if so, it means it's a bundle game. if not, before you create a giveaway take a pill of Viagra. it will "raise" your contributor value by a lot :)

Then, why I got only the value of 2 of the 3 Alien Shooters I offered? The first and the second raised my contributor value, but the third no. They were in a bundle, so shouldn't I have received a partial value for the 3 of them? I was at ~$28 value before the third one got claimed, then my value got to $30 and stood there. By my calculations, I got the full value for 3 games, which sums to $28 (3+15+10), assuming I got 20% of the third game, I should be at $31 value (0.2*15=3, 28+3=31). I got something wrong?

Your bundled games can not amount to more than 20% of your total CV, that's how it works. Bundled games will be treated as non-bundled games up to 25 bucks. Add 20 percent to that and your cv should be capped at 30 points until you do another non-bundled giveaway.
