Waiting 7 days to reroll query

You're making perfect sense and understood the FAQ correctly.
Granted in your initial statement you omitted a few things (bundle partially owned & recent infractions) that are not relevant in this situation and would only unnecessarily complicate the explanation.

Technically the other person is also correct. It's just they're talking about something that has nothing to do with the matter at hand. Seems to me like they are debating with you about semantics. Maybe they were bored I suppose.

You already get the point across and the other person seems to already know the rule so i wouldn't bother with continuing the discussion if i were you. There is no need to edit anything either since the message was meant for the gifter and they already understand what you meant earlier. Sorry that you have to go through that and hope you have a nice day. :)

You said: you cant ask for a reroll before 7 days with no reason -> true
They said: you can ask a reroll before 7 days with a valid reason -> true

Both are right, and i'm pretty sure you both know this.

but i admit its a bit hard to understand since the giveaway creator apparently changed their description and now it isnt clear anymore.
so someone only reading the current description and your comment would question what you are even on about

It's hard to say because it appears the GA creator updated the description following your discussion.

That being said, from how it looks now, it seems that you say the GA creator must always wait 7 days to reroll or delete, which isn't true: it depends on the reason. Basically:

• rerolling because the winner has been AFK/playing dead/burned down their computer = yes you need to wait 7 days
• rerolling because the winner requested it or broke some rules = no need to wait 7 days

From my understanding of the situation and since you're asking about the way you try to get a point across, I would have posted something like:
"Note that the rules state that the winner has a delay of 7 days to redeem a gift, so you cannot force a reroll earlier than that even if you say so in your GA description"
