Sorry, it's been a while since I created my account, but if I remember correctly you can do it without the app.
I think you have to "create" your account by signing in through steam, facebook, google, whatever.
After that you can set a password and a username for a direct login.
Again, I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think that's how it worked :)

I would only grab it if you want the game or you have a lot of coins lying around...

It is. (I grabbed it because I don't want to deal with DIG or shady Russian sites and I did have the coins lying around.)

With one of their past deals there were some duplicates (all resolved by their support though, I think), so that's maybe something to keep in mind when making a giveaway.

NO ,just 15% off coupons for some obscure (in the UK) German electronics sites .

Some free loot for mobile games or some of those free to play browser games ,stuff like that.

Or starter packs for other on-line games (not steam)

That's not to say you won't get insanely lucky and get something worthwhile but it's very unlikely.

It seems to me it's just a quick way to relieve you of 2000 coins :)
