Got Panzer Corps key. Can only create GA for panzer corps gold, I think my key will activate gold edition since all DLC have been merged. Can anyone confirm?

I doubt it. I do have Panzer Corps in my library, since I haven't won it here on SG I think it's from Lootboy. I think you're better off using the key and find out and tell us what you've got. IMO. Other option would be that you got Panzer Claws instead which reads similar, I got it couple of times from LB.

It's Panzer Corps base game for sure, what I don't know is if it includes DLC or just base game as a result of the last update in February. Using the key is an option yes, I used to play Panzer General long ago, but now I don't have that much time. I guess that if I want to play it for nostalgia I'd rather run DosBox than learning a whole new game with tons of content. I've recently played Fantasy General II, but it's a game at a much lower scale, third mission (Norway) in original Panzer General took hours to finish, even for a player that had a very good general idea of the map.
Most probably it will just collect dust in my steam library so I'll see if I can get more info on this key and I can always use the good old "this is a Lootboy group GA, please allow me to delete...".

Actually it's more probable that you got the "old" one when it was called Panzer Corps Werchmarscht (whatever the spell is). I got a code recently as gift (dunno if from lootboy) and it's the game minus all those DLCs merged into one package. The thing is that the old lonely game just got renamed, and the DLCs merged, so they have the same appid (you can check the history at SteamDB.info). So it's only the game but Steam still shows it as Panzer Corps Gold, and it installs the current Gold interface with name and all, but without the DLCs.
Worse is that if you try to create a GA for one of those DLCs, you can only do it with the 30 points it costs the whole package, while it's only one DLC.
Consult in general discussion until someone from support can officially tell you that you can do a GA for Gold since it's the only choice you have. Dunno if you can open a support ticket for this.

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
