dunno, maybe to find mods, like on steam games? Cuz my friend use desura only for game mods, i could say it goes good with finding mods.

Desura is decent. It offers Indie games still in development while Valve doesn't. UI can be a little clumsy if you're used to Steam's simple layout. I got it mainly for Towns and Kenshi.

Well the main focus about Desura is that there's rarely "platform exclusives", almost all the games offered on Desura have DRM free counterparts.

Not quite as true for Steam and Origin.

Given that its 5 digits per section, it would be in "G4NL" in first set, and "I5QW" in second set. Now WHERE and WHAT character should be placed within those sections, i have no idea
