Lately their bundles I feel are even better than Humble Bundle for the sheer number of games on offer and bonuses.

(edit) I wasn't expecting such vitriol over my comments about how good Groupees was. Naturally, Humble Bundle deals with blockbuster titles, but for $1, can you really get as many titles as with Groupees?

Confirmed titles:

I'm kind of torn about BaBs. Its nice to be able to pick only the games that interest me, but I like being able to buy a bundle for $1 and give away the extra bits in the forum. What I'm not crazy about is the bundle (Bundlestars, I think) that has a varying minimum for the bundle. Even if there's a game in there that looks interesting, I haven't seen one yet that justifies the $5+ price tag.

Bundlestars and Indie Royale do that I believe. The build a bundles have a set minimum depending on how many you pick.

Humble Bundle and Indie Gala too, though they all have different methods of calculating the minimum, but they all vary it as sales occur.

Cargo Commander, Faerie Solitaire... The top middle one looks like it might be Hard Reset?

Love the build a bundles so I'll probably at least grab the minimum amount of games and probably more if they interest me.

HiB trumps all Groupees' hands down.

Their Primordia case was a silly joke - shame on them.

Buncha repeats of pathetic games like Meridians bundle last week.

There's no way they're better than HiB.

I would never have assumed that a repeat of a previous bundle would have duplicates! I can't think of many Groupees bundles where they've had over 50% bundle repeats.

If you had actually read his statement and taken it for what it said, then he's absolutely correct. They stated "the sheer number of games on offer and bonuses" which in most cases is true, Groupees does tend to have more games and more bonuses than any other bundle.

I prefer Groupees over HiB. They haven't been the same since HiB V.

I hope the "possibly" gets removed. An adventure is always a draw for me.

The possibly probably either means it's a bonus or the game is only kind of an adventure, like how Binding of Isaac is only kind of a roguelike.

WARNING!

Do not play Spectraball. It's big piece of shit. Seriously, i never been so nervous as when playing this. Bugs, ball moving too fast, stupidly designed maps and more. Let die those who compare this to Ballance...

hope its in there, wanted it for a while but the price is just absurd lol. It never drops low enough on the big sales to justify paying for a modified flash game.

in your opinion, is a good bundle?

I was slightly more excited when I thought Monster Trucks Nitro was in the bundle, as Off-Road Drive was already in a Bundlestars bundle before. It's decent, Build a Bundles generally aren't the best in terms of value, but it does give you a lot of freedom to get just the games you want without necessarily paying more for other games you don't care about. I'll still be picking up at least 2 titles.

Freedom Falls is also on Desura so we'll most likely get it on there.

Aeon Command is also on Greenlight, but the other two Desura games are not.

Come, my minions! Mwuahahahahah.

  • Too bad they didn't repair some screwed up games like Tryst etc not showing up but overall I like the last update.
