Nope, for me the price in Euros is nearly same as "price" in points.

yeah, we in europe pay higher prices. stupid 1 dollar = 1 euro steam bullshit

Yeah and funny enough when everyone was crying about in Europe that cause Valve will be forced to add VAT to games for countries in the EU prices for games in the UK went DOWN. Funny how having the taxman watching makes a company provide fairer exchange rates.

That's what some people are predicting will happen as the US QE program ended recently and the EU is just beginning to implement their own. We might even see the two currencies swap places for a bit, with the dollar being more valuable for a time

Except it wasn't just there,
Proved my point. The fall of the Euro's buying power was NOT because of Steam and media companies.
you have to order things from outside because you can't find it in your country/in Europe (distributors).
This is the bigger problem. Requirements for importing+ vat.
Take the fact that Euro is used in the European Union which isn't a country but a collection of countries and the toll on the power of the currency escalates.
Blame the Ill performing countries dragging down countries like Germany. Currency can be brought down more due to investment or lack of investment opportunities more than a stand alone media company like steam.
Also add, that the USD is recovering its own buying power through the recovering market. Since a large share of the global market is invested in the USD or, at the VERY least, the US market demand, its not hard to follow the USD strongly affects other currency including the Euro, Yen and Yuan.
But again, the original quip was that Steam and other companies did not destroy the Euro buying power alone which would be just laughable.

We still pay more but it's not that bad anymore, value of EUR have fallen recently:
1 Euro = 1.10022 U.S. dollars
Lats year it was:
1 Euro = 1.4 U.S. dollars
Here check this chart:

Really? Is this complete edition? I don't think so.

Says 30P, so it was probably one of those "Steam reported the wrong price again" situation.

The points are free anyways. Maybe was some pack with dlcs (or just a bug in the db), the price in USD is about 25 for the base game.

Sometimes happen, some week ago the "price" for one of the Serious Sam games in SG was 100 pts.

They also did something to get on my blacklist. Granted, that is hardly an exclusive club, but still.

it's not a bug on sg's end anyway. it might even not be considered as a bug at all. all happening here is when a game is in a pack and the pack is cheaper than that game, steam reports the pack's value as the game's value. it'll fix itself soon enough.

Weird, maybe there is a bug in the Steam shower of seriously.
Have you tried turning it off and then never turning it back on again?

I think the number of average entries has been rising but have no valid data to back it up. Smaller number of average entries in public giveaways would benefit everyone, I think.

Well, that's the actual price of the bundle. (Unless you're talking about only the base game, which I highly doubt.)

While I agree that OP is a little whiney, there actually is a bug in the method that sets points values. So, for anyone interested in the actual bug instead of trolling:
I believe it's caused by discounts on packs. Civ just recently had a sale, that's when it started happening (I noticed on Gods&Kings / Brave New World GA's). Ever since then all the Civ 5 single apps have the same point value as the Complete Edition. Same bug happened to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Standard Edition is now 90P, the price of the Season Pass Bundle. BLTPS also had a recent sale.

The game cost about 30 Euros so why the points needed for entry were increased from 30P to 50P?!
