I've been subscribed to reddit.com/r/simcity to keep an eye on the game, and it seems that every patch adds new bugs and fails to fix the old ones.

To be clear, cracking a game that you own is perfectly, one hundred percent legal as far as I can tell.

Wikipedia has the actual US law detailing the legality of cracks in their article.

I would take the game... if someone paid me at least few hundred dollars. I would never play it even though I like past Sim City games. They just screwed it up so badly. I was interested in the game when I first heard about it, then I seen all the crap they put in it and all the stuff they removed from it that was in previous games.

Just say "no to EA." The new Sim City will never live up to the best of Sim City 4. If you want to know how bad, just look at Amazon.com reviews and whole other bad PRs that EA got.
