Which One Should I BUY
I don't know, depends on your style. I think F4 will give you a longer more personal expereince? You know since it's very random how things can happen.
Unless you're a FF nerd, then why not.

pfft..
Just questioning my personal preferences will qualify you for a bl spot! The answer is obvious. You should pick the one I'd pick. Don't even try to ask me which one that is, whichever you'd pick my brother will bl you anyway because he can't afford either of these games and he got so MAD when he saw the Indian steam store prices! :D

I wouldn't choose FF15 because the demo ran like shit on my computer and I wouldn't choose F4 because I've heard is closer to an FPS th an RPG. I enjoyed Fallout 3 and New Vegas and I'm not sure if I would enjoy F4 looking at him as a Fallout game.
I would choose a different game.

I would recommend Final Fantasy XV. There are better action JRPG options, such as Tales of Berseria, but FF XV is a good game that does things differently from previous FF games and other JRPGs, and it feels unique for it. It's certainly more polished with fewer bugs, and it just feels like a better overall experience.
Fallout 4 is also a good game, but slightly confused about what it wants to be - role-playing game, shooter, both? As a role-playing game, it pales in comparison to Fallout New Vegas, let alone Witcher 3. It's very much like Fallout 3 in that the solution to everything is to shoot it. But as a shooter, it can't compare to FPS games, and even as a hybrid RPG-shooter it pales in comparison to the Mass Effect series. It does many things well enough to be entertaining, but it doesn't do any one thing particularly well to stand out. But if you enjoyed Fallout 3, this is very much more of the same.
Both games feature large open-worlds to explore, though Fallout 4's is more dense with more stuff to find. Both also offer mod support (user generated content), though Fallout 4 has many more mods on account of being out longer and people being more familiar with modding Bethesda games. You'll definitely want the GotY version of Fallout 4 for the mods, since many mods require having all the DLC.
And if you like Horror games, RE 7 is really good. Horror games aren't my thing, but everything I've heard about RE 7 indicates that it's fantastic and will scare the pants off you.

Yes, buy RE7 - because I haven't bought it yet, and I like RE games, and this looks like it has more of what I like about the RE games and less of what I don't like about them.
Enjoy!

i never played any of the FF games since they're just not my kind of game.
but i have played the fallout games from the very start and i loved every one of them. so fallout 4 wins!

If you play Fallout 4 because you liked Fallout 3 and expect a similar game, you will be heavily disappointed. Like me. Others already stated the big let downs. But I would also point out that it lacks of creativity:
Only 4 vaults? That's the same number we had in Fallout 3 - Why didn't we had at least 2 or 3 more?
The locations you discover are always the same; Get in the building, kill x number of enemies, get the loot box at the end with the leader inside. The only thing that changes is the building itself but if you look at it without this, every building, and every location you find is just a shoot out stand, how you find them in theme parks for some bucks. Just in this case you payed a lot more for it.
At the end I would consider Fallout 4 as 80% Ego Shooter, 10% Mine craft and 10% Fallout Feeling. I mean look at the dialogue system: I want more options than "Yes", "no", "Sarcasm". How am I supposed to get into a dialogue like this?
And a big downvote for me: Why the hell did they remove the karma system? It is so stupid: Rob a whole town and do 1 Missionf for them = "We thank you so much. You are such a great person". Also the way the factions act to you is totally stupid: You do 1 Mission (!) For the Brotherhood of Steel and are directly their deepest companion. Are we talking about the same guys that hided in a big fucking castle in Fallout 3, that you were just able to enter at the end of the story bc you had the ex love of one of the bosses by your side? The same guys that hided in a fucking bunker in Fallout NV and pointed a gun at your head once you entered? Allright Bethesda we got it : Fallout 4 turned into a mainstream mix of the games that sold good and left the fallout feeling behind. My opinion.

Just get FFXV. It's a great game; actually one of the best and most addictive I've played in the past few years.

Like most of us, your willpower failed you. LOL!:)
Happy gaming, abrix!:) Maybe you can let us know what you think of the games once you've had a chance to play them!:)

One is a JRPG, the other is an Open World Shooter with roleplaying elements and loads of stories, lore and sidetracking quests Mod support too for more "immersive" experiences ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nearing the end of the vanilla game on my first playthrough in FO4 after over 400 hours ...
Edit: I just remembered what FF15 is. Somehow I was thinking of the earlier ones ;)

I voted FFXV because I bought both games at launch, and was excited to play both. Fallout 4 I played for awhile, grew bored and never finished. FFXV I played all the way through (though I didn't 100% it by far). Since FFXV kept my attention all the way though, it wins in my book, but truthfully neither game is as good as I hoped or expected. I'd personally spend the money on something else entirely like FFX, FFVII, Witcher 3, Valkyria Chronicles, etc.

Considering how I purchased Fallout 4:GOTY yesterday (currently getting installed), I would choose that one.;)
Although several friends have said Hellblade is amazing (I own it, but have yet to play it).

Fallout new Vegas, FF: X, FF XIII, Withcer 3, Dragon Age Origins if you want AAA RPG/Action RPG.
FF 15, Fallout 4, Inqusition, Anromeda - shit/mediocre games

perhaps at the release of fallout 76, which around november, fallout 4 might get a price drop or bigger discount.
I not telling with it, that you should buy FF tho, i dont like those games, but perhaps its wroth to wait with fallout 4 if you have enough games to play or short on money.
BTW, talos principle i see on pic in your cart, its an awesome game:-)
iam still considering which should i buy at the last day of sale, fallout 4 goty or Elex. Elex combat isnt the best, its hard, but its story is more rich and deep. Or nothing, as i have way too many games on backlog lol.

One series of games that amazes me with their lack of good price/discount, is the Call of Duty series. A game from almost 10 years ago, for that much? Yuck!

i polled f4 goty dueto i love fps/rpg more than act/rpg.

Fallout 4 did nothing but piss me off. We are talking about a game where you can easily put 100h, and most of those hours is being disappointed with something they did.

for example
https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-04-09-final-fantasy-15-has-four-more-dlc-episodes-due-in-2019
The basic difference between FFXV and other AAA's with DLCs is, if without these dlcs the FFXV's story is fragmented.
Well, enjoy it! At least they WILL make all DLCs for sure!

Kinda late to party, but I don't recommend FF XV
most ppl said it's a meme game because how bad it is
even some PS4 Owner said FF13 is better than XV
I'll just recommend You to save Your money for NieR instead, because SEnix just being a cheapass again this sale

Hello Everyone,
Steam sale is going to end in a few days and I'm confused which of the above game should i buy from steam store
It's available in INDIA as given in the table below
FALLOUT 4 GOTY - INR 1499 - $21.74
FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION - INR 1449 - $21.02
Please do poll and comment which one should i buy and why??
FINAL UPDATE
Hello friends, I guess it was not only me but the community too were in a state of confusion while choosing any one from both of the games.
BTW I've purchased the follow-wing games and I'll state the reason behind that, WHY I've Purchased it, as i did some very extensive research on the 3 games that I've purchased.. These are the followwing
HELLBLADE SENUA'S SACRIFICE - 437 INR = $6.36
FALLOUT 4 GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION 1499 INR = $21.83
FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION 1449 INR = $21.10
TOTAL PAID - 3385 INR = 49.95 USD as of 04-JULY-2018
REASON
I choose the sequence very carefully listed above.
I've watched 3hrs of gameplay in youtube, for HELLBLADE SENUA'S SACRIFICE and really it is my favourite game in all of three, the story, the graphics, the audio, the horror, the combat system too looks pretty impressive and i think ninja theory did a great job in maintaining all the three things altogether - THE GAME completes in average 8-10 HRS so therefore i guess 30% of gameplay time is worth deciding whether to buy or not. Not only this, I even contacted some famous youtubers and even they choose hellblade among the other games [THAT'S A SHOCK]. But as i said, it's totally understandable and I'm currently downloading the game as of this writing.
NEXT I LISTED FALLOUT 4 GOTY, well the community has divided opinions regarding bugs, and the mods that are added on daily or weekly basis, and because of a very very strong mod support, this game does more than it's potential. I can understand that people were saying that it's kinda repetative in sense of exploration or gameplay, like around 70% time it involves shooting and killing, but this is actually common in all of the fallout games. Indeed I've played the Fallout 3 GOTY and i like the idea of nuclear apocalypse and setting on a journey to explore the fallout universe and vault 101, the story was kinda great ( JUST SOMEWHAT like FAR CRY 4) although FAR CRY 5 is the best far cry game i've played, because of the amazing graphics and gameplay, and the first game that i completed in that far cry universe.
Back to what i was talking about FALLOUT 4 that Bethesda with Fallout 76 is going to do a experimental change the way they manage the fallout series. Now many people advised me that after the release of the FALLOUT 76, i should buy this game, but i guess the amount of content and game-play is worth the money, even Bethesda is trying to kill the modding support by frequently adding patches and game updates. But I'm a hard-core gamer and i guess after 2.5 years of waiting the prices aren't going down for another year and a half (i mean for next 3 steam sales)
NOW THE FINAL GAME IS FF15, well i watched 3 hrs of gameplay for it too and it's really an amazing world square enix created, literally amazing in terms of visuals and graphics, the story is not what it seems to be eye catching at first, but my doubt about the combat system cleared and now i'm not locked to a particular demon like the ones we'd earlier in FF14 and FF13. Although the comparison isn't justified and even though I'm not a FAN of JRPG, but I am a fan of gameplay and graphics. Like Mirror's Edge catalyst does have a shitty, very very shitty story, but the graphics, the gameplay, man that's impressive in all nature. and i bought that for $5, after playing the drm free version provided by my friends in EA.
So i would like to thank everyone for helping me through and really some of the suggestions were too the point and amazing, and really i would wish you a Happy 4th July to my friends in the USA.
I hope i didn;t make a mistake by purchasing these 3 and if i did. I'll update that in a separate PROS and CONS with the games but that'll take time for me to process, analyze and then decide.
Thank you everyone for your wonderful support
With love from India,
Abrix
