The way the current summer cards are where you dont see individual listings. Its awkward getting used to, but I do think its better in the long run.

It also is applied to backgrounds and emotes so far.

well they have to wait for all the other undercutters to sell first :P

even if I were to list at .03 .. the system will match it to the highest buy offer

Now if you make a mistake in a listing you might not have a moment to get it off and fix it. Hopefully there is some short grace period before it is listed.

There's a 'waiting time' to the system make the sell.
I just listed a card for the same price as the highest buy order, there was no other listed at this value and it took a few minutes to sell it.

I wouldn't take this as gospel.

Earlier today I had the first drop of a rare background and put the price up relatively high, then someone came and made a buy order that was about 0.30 less than what I had set my price for, so I re-listed at the price of the buy order that the person placed and it was literally 2 or 3 seconds before it filled his buy order.

I think the delay is dependent on how busy the servers actually are at the time. I did it in the wee hours of the morning (US EST) so there wasn't a terrible amount of traffic as has been during the busy times during the sales.

If you were listing something like Summer Cards, there are so many of those that the system may not be showing all of the buy orders, but for things that are not as "busy" it seems to fill the orders almost instantaneously.

I don't quite understand the system. I just made a buy order for $0.15 on a summer card. As soon as I pressed the button to place the order it purchased it for me at $0.10. What I'm confused about though is, why did I get that card? There's literally THOUSANDS of buy orders $0.17 and under at the time of my order that were placed before mine. So it's NOT first come, first serve? If it's not, then how does the system decide who gets the card? Is the fastest way to purchase a card to constantly place/remove, place/remove, etc. your buy order? :S I don't get it.

Highest bid gets lowest price. eg. make order for 1€ and you get the lowest available price.

I know that... but there were orders on that card for HIGHER than my order. There were orders at $0.17 and even $0.19. So why did I get it with an order of $0.15? Not only that, but there were hundreds of orders prior to mine at $0.15 as well. Why would my order come in front of theirs?

I have noticed that as well.. The system doesn't seem to be polished enough.
