Half Minute Hero? To buy or not go buy, that is the question.

I adore the game.

So long as you can get past it's silly, 30-second justification in the plot being, well, kinda dumb, the gameplay is very good.

Worth noting, once you beat a level feels a bit more like a racing game's time trial mode where you're competing against yourself to beat your best time (at least for me). There's usually a fair bit to explore in each level though if you're a completionist. Also, there are quite a few branching paths.

I think the game would get boring if you tried to play it for 3-4 hours at a time, but I find it great for when I have an hour or less to kill.

I don't think that there will be nicer discount, so if you like the game, buy it.

By the way, I tried this game before and I'm not so impressed. Just not my kind of game, maybe :)

I love the PSP version and this one should be even better. You should get it.

It is alright. The game has its moments, but unless you have a relatively high tolerance for repetition, you'll probably get bored with it.

I hate being timed and I dislike time trials. So pass for me.

I bought it. Only played it for 90 minutes so far and I thought it was pretty cool. I plan on playing it some more. It's not really 30 seconds. You can extend your time but if you extend too much it calls you "sucky hero." So there are various trophy levels and each level has various objectives. I was a little disappointed that you can't use new equipment you collect on lower levels.

It's soo boring, I don't recommend it.
