I think you mean 700 entries and no wins. But yeah, 300 is pretty normal.

Well, when some Giveaways get 2000+ entries, it's not surprising. It's just that winning a game, a then having the publisher decide to take the game away really sucks, and sucks worse then entering a ton of giveaways and never winning. Dirt 3 is actually a really good game, btw.

This is like the 103rd thread on teh "oh I'm so unfortunate you know thad?" subject. I don't win anything..Actually may it have been a Dirt 3 or not you already have won once in 130 entries. Thats pretty good you know for public raffles? Stop whining and be happy you can be part of a community where you have a chance of getting something free without being obliged to give in return..

Ice cream and unicorn sex avatars are all I need to get over something sad. Many thanks, sir.

You won a fake giveway where the prize was a hacked Cd-Key. So technically, you've won nothing.

I don't know about you, but I personally read the rules the day I joined. The people who don't read the rules are the ones who spam the fake giveaways, and if a person plans on entering then it's just as important for them to know the rules as it is for the gifter to know them.

Please... LOOK HOW LUCKY OTHERS ARE AND DON'T BITCH ABOUT YOUR LUCK!!! I saw a guy with >600 entries and 1 win, so what? Why you keep creating such shitty threads in this forum? Almost every week you can see a "i've nener won anything, my luck sucks" kinda thread. Seriously. It makes mad. Stop creating these useless threads.

Ok, sorry for this, but you should understand it's very annoying to see the same "i won nothing" kinda thread almost every week from different users. I think you're not the last one. Sorry again, it wouldn't stop such repetitive monotony. Just look at the site ever again in some days or a week. I'm 100% sure there will be another thread just as yours. No, not 100%, but 110%/100 sure.

Me too. But why do you think someone care about it and wanna listen to my whinings? Dude, there is the Internet, there're millions people here, and you think someone cares about you? If you have such a bad luck, just try to fix it by yourself. If i won fake, i'll report to the admin's e-mail, not spamming in the forum. Stop whining!

Actually, I own only 112 Steam games. One of the interesting side effects of having a job is having money to spend on such things. Of course, since I lost my job, I haven't had much money to spend on game, which is why I'm on here in the first place.

Worst luck is subjective and relative. By worst, you imply the most extreme negative luck that is possible. I'd say the worst luck would contain irony and have to go to someone who either died before winning or after, or someone who won and is physically incapable of playing games.
So, before you be a dick and say you have the "worst luck" look around and be grateful that you're participating. Also, you can also just search the forum and see how many times someone said they have the worst luck.

Assuming it IS a dream, it depends on the sleep and relative conditions. However, if it was an illusion, what if the subject is in a waking dream or a waking life rather than a vat?

Reality is what we perceive to be real and exists, but since we could never be sure on the accuracy of our senses, we'd have to accept the reality that we're experiencing. That is, if we accept that we're experiencing our reality rather than someone elses. I don't think dying would help solve this because as long as there is doubt in the senses, we could never be sure. Perhaps its just a long dream state that reality perceives as non existence.

There's something called sensory deprivation, which can be used as a from of torture. They block off all sensory input as best they can, sometimes floating them in a tank of water, or whatever. When the mind can no longer sense externals, and experience reality, it tends to create a reality of its own, perhaps reliving memories or creating new situations based on them. It hallucinates rather then have nothing to experience.

Which begs the question, what is this thing called experience anyway? Although Descartes decided to deprive sensory information in his meditations, he still came up with solutions that related to his senses and experience. Experience is always present even when the senses are taken out of the mix. For example, if we take away sight, sound, touch, and taste and hallucinate - the experience would still occur with the various chemical reactions in our brain. This would occur regardless of how we perceive the hallucination, much like Plato's allegory of the cave where the experience is essentially relative to the subject and is simply a perspective on reality.

And there's sleep deprivation, which I've experienced myself. After a few weeks or so of only getting snatches of sleep because of ringing in my ears I wasn't used to yet I ended up hallucinating. I ended up in the hospital, so it wasn't all that fun. Still, the hallucinations actually did seem real at the time they were happening, even though they were entirely created by my sleep deprived mind. The borders of reality seemed twisted and things that could only exist in fantasy seemed to be part of the real world, including sight, sound, taste and touch. And I didn't even have to take drugs for that to happen! Lesson learned, get enough sleep!

So much negative feedback. Not surprising, but I guess I was hoping for something more like, "Sorry about that chap, better luck next time, wot, wot, cheerio!" or "Dang dude, that was a fake giveaway! Some people really are jerks, posting fake giveaways, but what are ya gonna do? Just gotta keep on trucking!"

In this world, you are expected to be able to pat yourself on the back when needed... To brush off your hands and grab the rope again, when needed... To be the dog who saw his reflection in water while holding a bone in it's mouth, and not bark.

Asking for compassion from a community of gamers? Big mistake imho. You could try => http://freehugscampaign.org/forum/index.php for some kind words, fluffy clouds, unicorns on rainbows etc.

I've been on this site for a month and I've only won once. That was a copy of Dirt 3, which is now no longer on my Steam account because the publisher decided to take the game away. This was after I actually was able to download it and play it. So, instead of winning 1 out of 132 Giveaways I've entered, I've really won 0. Which sucks.
