How do giveaways work on this site? Do people who make them choose the winner or it is randomly chosen? If it is randomly chosen why are people always writing ty under every giveaway?

1 - It's randomly chosen.

2 - there's a myriad of reasons for people to say ty, guess people will enumerate some of them, just you wait...
