Would recommend the arctis lineup, (using the arctis 5 because i want those rgb lol). sound is ok, and mic is quite clear. Mine had that discord integration where i can adjust how much voice/in game sound i can hear with a spin of the wheel. I read somewhere that the best headphones would be from audio companies, but these usually come without integrated mic. they sound better and you could find some cheaper with good build as well. (so if udon't really use mic, I recommend getting an audiophile headphones)

The Arctis headsets are what I recommended in the other thread. I own the Arctis 5 like him as well and it's a really good headset. There's two versions of it so if you get it make sure to get the 2019 version as it has some nice upgrades.

I will never not recommend the classic HyperX Cloud 2. Good sound quality, good mic, comfortable, I'm using them all the time, just great. My pair got a bit a problem with the jack and the sound got a bit distorted depending on the position it was in, but it was still under the warranty, so I got into contact with HyperX support and explained the issue fully expecting to have to send them in, and after showing my receipt they just straight up sent me a whole new pair, no cost or proof of the damage involved.
Maybe it isn't 100% what you're looking for, but my default response to this question is always "get HyperX" lol.

I got them 2 weeks ago and absolutely love them. The sound is amazing and they're super comfortable. I absolutely love that they come with an extra pair of fabric cushions which I'm using because I just don't like the synthetic leather ones. Not using the mic because I got a studio mic so I'm glad it can be taken off though when I tested it the sound quality was excellent as well, but as for the headphones, I'm definitely 100% happy with them and would totally recommend them as well.

If you want a headset without any hassle then stick with Sennheiser especially if like me you find the mute system very handy (not sure if anyone else copied it yet).
Otherwise i always recommend getting a nice headphones instead and get out of the "gaming" gimmicky brands. You can just get a modmic and pick whatever fits your bill.

My friend recently bought the Roccat Elo X Stereo headset and is absolutely in love with it. He says it's really comfortable, the sound is good and from my perspective, when talking to him on discord, the mic quality is good as well and it's pretty cheap at 50€ (£40). Doesn't have a foldable mic but does have a mute button and volume control on the headset itself so maybe it's still worth looking into. :)

Hey
Few days ago i asked for advice on new headphones for my son, thanks to everyone, great advice.
Now i need some advice on what are good for me. Want them to have a microphone, one that is solid on the unit (not removeable) and fold up to mute (personal preference) Some kind of volume control would be good also.
Don't care about lights or anything like that, so no USB required.....3,5mm standard jack.
My budget is a little more but not huge. Under £100 would be choice.
Appreciate any advice. Thanks
