Ponies or Anime?

I like games.

They shouldn't be even compared, MLP is pretty much one show aimed at kids, while anime is everything animated from Japan, aimed at different demographics. You can find both crappy anime and real gems.

But I didn't really like MLP, so anime.

I have't seen a single episode of MLP, so I guess I'll go with anime. Also, MLP is one show, and anime is a big variety of different genres, aimed at different targets. So you can't really compare them.

none, one is for children or people who refuse to grow up and live in the real world and the other is Japanese animation.

People need to be you know, alive for me to like it nearly all of the time

Most anime fans I know are disgusting weeabos, and most bronies I know are socially handicapped neckbeards. So, as far as the communities go, I'd say neither of them.

Also, Anime is a big genre. There's no point comparing it to a show.

And what if I like to watch Avatar: The Legand of Aang/Korra? It is neither Ponies nor anime

Actually I like to watch amerime, anime, Ponies, cartoons, movies, films, pictures, comics, games, reviews... (15 minutes later) ...forum threads, animated .gifs in replies, static .jpegs in replies, forum avatars, forum profiles... (another 15 minutes later) ...books, covers, illustrations, letters, game aimations, machinimas... (let's leve me blabbering all the night long, ok? ;) )

Anime. My Little Pony is cute too, but not really... Entertaining.

as far as the animation goes, i like both, however anime covers a wide variety if stuff, cowboy bebop, tengen toppa gurren laggan, one piece, you got a lot to choose from while mlp is just 1 show.

as far as the community goes, both are good, they got their fair share of either obsessed weaboos who curse everything not made in japan, or stupid neckbeards who go around spreading shit like "ronboi dush is my waifu" (i had an image for that but its on derpibooru and its down for now), but you can always encounter the nice people who will make you feel like humanity is not at all doomed

i do have to say since the mlp community is so wide there is ALOT of fan stuff to watch.

Edit: That being said, I actively follow the MLP-inspired EDM scene, but not the ones that simply remix songs from the show, only ones that originally sparked up due to this.

Being a true poser, I only watch films created between the years 1952-53 March-May and eschew any other low class medium

Since there's a little something for everyone in Anime, and MLP is just one show, definitely anime.

Ponies are about 20% cooler. Actually, I kind of lost interest in Anime because after a while they all feel the same, the majority seem to be set in a school. Chobits wasn't bad, and Haruhi Suzumiya is good if you skip all of the Endless 8 arc other than maybe the last episode. There are ones set outside of schools of course, and some of those have been good.

Both shouldn't exist.
