Anyway, whitelist recruitment. Hit me up if you think I'll accept you.
If you're one of the blacklisted few, then you can keep walking.
Fyi, most blacklists are people who win lots, and it's not because I hate you - i'd rather see people win who aren't just +1 collectors/hoarders.
Also this is not a blacklist recruitment/complaint thread, so please don’t make it that.

Giveaway Added for everyone - Level 3. (Please only enter if you don't already own the base game.)
Injustice 2 Legendary Edition

I'll be doing some whitelist giveaways when I get 50+ on my whitelist. Just over halfway there...

Welp, no-one seems interested, so I'll close this thread.

It's impossible to have total control. Life goes through.

I can not control how my parents were raised, so I couldn't control how they raised me. I believe somebody with total control would go mad with power and by definition they would be unstoppable if they wanted to be.

I don't know if you can have total control but chaos is more interesting anyways.

You control your thoughts, your actions, your mentality, your habits. You dont control everything but these things shape up your reality. It's your life you are in control of.

Maybe... unless you have depression, or are not "naturally" ultra wealthy to do "whatever you want", or have to interact with other people ever (most would be seeking that very "control" themselves), or you have OCD. Or all the above.

Actually, even if all those things, which are largely out of your control, are in your favour instead of working against you, you still wouldn't be in control- you'd just be deluding yourself into thinking that everything is fine and ignoring society as a whole. Which I guess is a form of control... until said "society" decides to ask for its cut and rips that illusion of control out of your hands. But, well, you can always beep denying until the end. :D
(I mean, that's probably a much nicer way to live, at least for a while, and I wouldn't wish depression on anyone... So, yeah, delusion is preferable in today's world in general.)

I agree with you friend. I do understand depression and having suffered through clinical depression, and still recovering from it, i totally understand why you'd want to use the word delusion instead of 'Designing'.
i come from a particular school of thought so maybe our belief system are different.
I encourage you to watch this video, it explains my school of thought which is slowly developed over the years and the changes manifest not in form of delusion but in form of Universe designing and shaping things for you.

Before you make assumptions, make sure you’re blacklisted.
I had cleaned up my blacklist after the previous thread, perhaps I removed you by accident? In any case, you’re leaving no doubt that you’re needing self control at least.

ESGST didn't update since last time I asked why and you responded. I saw now that that has changed. Let me return the favor! 😃

Not your fault there, mine actually. 🤔 Sorry!

In any case, you’re leaving no doubt that you’re needing self control at least.

I know for a fact that I don't like being on the bad side of people because I genuinely don't like upsetting people, not because I need their validation, but I generally don't like feeling that someone dislikes me for some reason without properly understanding one another. If that makes sense. I don't know if you understood that by now, but I never held any grudge from you blacklisting, but I did wanted you to reconsider. So I appreciate it, honestly! 😃

Whatever may be the case, even if you did continue to blacklist me, I'm more sad that I wasn't able to maybe have you participate in maybe my private giveaways and wins. I think there's enough room for everybody even if I may say things that you may not agree with in some of the discussions or I gave you some sort of vibe that you just don't roll well with. Personally, I think communicating with me gets the message across easily and that way I can reflect on my mistakes, if there are any, and correct them, if possible.

You see, you still don't understand. I don't care that I can't enter your giveaways. If I cared about entering lots of giveaways I'd join all the groups I can find. Besides, you just give the same tired bundle games anyway, and most of them are part of some group. Really daft.
Also, why would I reconsider removing you from my blacklist just because you don't fit one of a bunch of criteria I set when I blacklist people?
This thread is for me to recruit people into my whitelist, it's not for pathetic blacklisted people to have pity-parties. There was absolutely NO point in you commenting in the first place.

Never actually did give Whitelisted giveaways. 🤔 Whatever may be the case, you're not forced to join anyway. I don't know why you're so offensive towards what I've said.

I don't know, but for some reason you did. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You're probably right, maybe I should have stayed silent and not said anything. In the end I'm not looking for arguing. I really don't know why you're so triggered about it, but only tried to have a friendly interaction as always. I guess you didn't see it that way. I wish you a good day/evening! 😀

Don't wanna see this thread die so i'll chuck out a bump!
And since i'm not crafty enough to make a total control pun like everyone else, ill divert the conversation entirely
Completely off topic, at what point do you decide to 100% achievements a game? Seeing you have over 250 perfect games on steam, i'm wondering if you for example just get the achievements as you enjoy the game or if you just get them as its not too out of the way, or maybe a mix of the both Sorry for diverging off path from the thread but i'm interested in your answer, thanks for your time :)

I take a lot of things into consideration:

  1. How easy is the game to 100% - I base this on percentages, and if anyone has mentioned bugged achievements in discussions.
1.a. If it's easy, but grindy/time-consuming, how much longer than a normal play-through do I have to do to wrap them all up.
1.b. If it's hard, but something I can attack via chapter select after completion of a game, then I might also consider attacking it.
  2. How much do I enjoy the game once I actually start playing it
  3. Are there any achievements that I might or already have missed (depending on if I have to refer to a walkthrough, etc.)
  4. How long is the cleanup of missed achievements gonna take if I complete, or am near completion of a game.

Take the last four completed games I played for example:
Ice Age - Scrat's Nutty Adventure. In this game, the camera and controls are probably the buggiest thing about the game, otherwise, it's a pretty simple game to 100% via stage select if you use a guide to find those missing collectibles.
Silence. This game is reasonably short, but cannot be 100% in one play-through due to specific things you can or cannot do. Apparently some of the achievements stack over multiple playthroughs as well, so if you missed something in your first play-through, chances are you can rectify that in your second play-through, without meeting all requirements.
Horace. Quite a long game (too long in my opinion), and I didn't trigger one of the missable end-game achievements in my play-through (partly my fault, as I usually check if there are missable achievements). Unfortunately, this game uses auto-save, so I'd actually have to play through the whole game again to get that missing achievement. No way am I doing that, as the game is quite a punishing platformer. That therefore made me not want to try for some of the other achievements that I still could have gotten. Again, this all came down to the game being too long (at least, for what was essentially just a platformer).
Evan's Remains. Super easy - puzzles can be skipped, dialogue can be skipped, and game can apparently be played in less than 30 minutes this way. So I played the game properly the first time, and the second time I cleaned up any achievements I didn't get.

I have a few games that I've missed one or two achievements on that really pissed me off, but I have more sense than to go back to them (for the most part) Looking at you, Mad Max. And finally, the one game I spent far too much time on was Neptunia 1, for my super-grindy 100%.

That makes sense, I definitely feel missing a couple achievements and it just being too much effort just to go for one achievement and just feeling so frustrated whenever you go to look back and seeing it, especially with missable achievements, happened with me when I went through a playthrough of The Adventure Pals and I missed the only missable achievement and couldn't be bothered to play through to that point just to get it, so to much dismay I uninstalled it while feeling defeated. Although since you brought it up, Neptunia is a series that i've kept in the corner of my eye for a while, and since you've 100%ed one of the games I would like to know if you think it's worth getting into, and if so where to start? The only real JRPG i've played is Persona 4 although I've got Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch lined up to play although I just need to get around to it, although after playing a long game i've really sort of got into the idea of getting stuck into a game for a long time and riding with it for a while, so i'd really like your opinion on how it sort of plays and how grindy it'd be. Thanks for replying in such detail btw, I really appreciate it!

huh.. Total Control nay!
obviously not, no such thing exists - then again that might be considered on a philosophical level.
on a more personal scale of things you´re totally(sic!) screwed without it, let´s call it discipline, decision making, whatever.. but Total?, still no! any- & everything that turns Total or even close to it will always end up in a mess one way or another,,
but that´s just my 2cts.

on the other topic - don´t imagine I qualify. keep you on mine tho, coz I actually like your style
still miss the green hair btw. well, things change I guess..

There is and it was actually developed by DOCA on 1995.

Jokes aside, it most definitely exist in some form, but is hard to see it manifest in nature, after all, we are limited by the laws of the universe, since those are outside our control. Concepts can exist outside of the universe itself, and even imagination, which is the process with the most control we have, is limited by our knowledge, experience and desire, however, those are all limitless and so is imagination.
