It happens. Always check the profile of the giver to see if they've actually given something before entering. There are exceptions to the rule, but if someone's giving away Rome: Total War II or something else that's expensive/new, check to see if they've given something in the past; they might not know how the site works.

I am not sure, but for some reason steam seems to automatically block you, if you remove someone from your contacts before they accepted your request...

well, it was a cheap game, I think it was in a bundle once: Death To Spies, so I didn't even check the proofile as fakees usually give out more expensive stuff.

It could be that he removed you because you added him. Don't do that guys, wait for a guy to add you or send you an email.

I was wondering if you can tell us who is that guy so we can report it to the moderator or something like that? Its sucks.
