awesome, I was expecting a bonus this week but not 5 books, awesome, even though they are (I think all of them?) just collection of free web comics, it's a shame that (eink) Kindle sucks at reading PDFs

They are not free. They are books of the webcomics that have been edited and have a lot of exclusive content :D

Does anybody tried uploading these comics on ebook reader? Don't know if it's worthy to look for USB cable for Kindle to upload these, since not every PDF or pictures look good here.
