You knew Q3? That's not common knowledge. How'd you end up reading about Leibniz?

You must have gone to a very good high school. A lot of people get through college without having heard of ___.

I did have good philosophy teacher, but I'd say it was a normal school :)
I think it has more to do with the fact that different countries have different school curricula.
In Italy if you go to a "liceo" highschool you will almost surely study philosophy (well, at least that's how it was when I went to highschool). On the other end when you go to university you only focus on your chosen subject.
My American friends explained to me that in the US it is quite different..! :)

Yes, it is. Other than the best private schools, I've never heard of a highschool teaching a regular philosophy class here.
It's pretty neat that elsewhere this stuff is being studied earlier.

Some high schools offer "advanced courses" for those students who wish to pursue studies which would otherwise be considered "extra credit." My Physics teacher, for example, spent a week on Einsteinium theories (optional, of course).

Oh, and the reason you might have been struggling with question 1 is that my clue was bad. I've now fixed it, so it ought to be a whole lot easier.

I really like philosophy. It opens your mind to complex thoughts - alas the majority of people (not you, fellow sgfters! I'm sure plenty of you love philosophy!) don't like it. Also no wonder dictatorial governments remove it from school grades.

:)
I find that rather than disliking it, a lot of people here don't quite know what it is. I say "philosophy" and they seem either puzzled or to think of psychiatry or psychology.

Bump, because people deserves to know about this thread!

I will admit that Google helped me with this, but it was still interesting to find out about the subject matter at hand. Thank you!:)

I had a pretty good week: I made a lot of progress on my writing for school and I sold a bunch of stuff on eBay. Thus here, bringing all that together, is my first ever puzzle train. It’s level 0 to 3, and rather short, but the last car is something special that's on a whole lot of wishlists around here. (coughStardewValleycough cough)
Edit: This ended on May 30.
Here you go. Enjoy! (In keeping with the writing I’ve been doing, this is all philosophy themed.)
Edit: I initially gave a bad clue to question 1. If you were having trouble that might be why. Sorry about that. I've since fixed it.
