I think it'll be instant GOTY, at least for me. Since I saw this game on Microsoft conference on E3, I fall in love with it.

I honestly don't care about the rape. As long as it's done well, I don't see why it's an issue. I see that shit all the time on Game of Thrones and other, less mature shows. As was pointed out in a comment somewhere, if that scene was in a Tomb Raider movie, no-one would blink. Dragon Age had no less than three of six origin stories feature rape (four, if the dwarven noble was female and you DIDN'T choose that origin). My issue is the pathetic backtrack they made about it, not even defending their own work. If they're not mature enough to say the word rape (or sexual assault or whatever), then they're not mature enough to have portrayed it correctly.

I'm looking forward to play it, although for me the new Lara "live", Camilla Luddington, is too fragile.

Tomb Raider > Microsoft

I'll probably buy it on PC if it comes out, but due to Microsoft's E3 presentation, which to me was the worst out of them all, I will not be buying it for Xbox 360.

Well, the E3 gameplay didn't exactly show much. Just the intro with a lot of quick-time events and some small puzzles. I'm not gonna judge it from what little I bothered to find out about it, but for now I wouldn't play it unless it got shoved into my face(And, well, I would play ANY game if it got shoved into my face. :P).

It might be the first Tomb Raider i will actually play just because it isn´t like Tomb Raider anymore, Liked the videos i saw so far. Fresh and new style to the game. Good!

I'm not impressed with the game so far. It seems to be focusing too much on combat and, while I'll admit it's a substantial improvement over other TR games, combat was never MEANT to be the strong point. It was the puzzles. I haven't seen a single puzzle in any trailer I've watched... Just promises that they exist. Like Ubisoft's "oh, don't worry, Connor kills Americans too" it's not enough to say that they exist. If you don't even show hints that they exist, people aren't going to believe you.

Honestly, I never even saw the combat until this years' E3. On the previous conference however they were showing off platforming and puzzle aspects.

I think it looks interesting. Reminds me a bit of Uncharted, and that's by no means a bad thing.

I loved how I was reading how they were talking about how her first kill will be serious breakdown for her, and in same time I was watching video about Lara running forward with shotgun killing dozen guys without breaking a sweat.

meh... i dont see the Tomb Raider in the new game, yeah it looks like agreat game (a great uncharted like game) but you know... meh...
i hate reboots, i preffer to see a new franchise rise, inspired in an old one, but not a reboot...
Same with the new Splinter Cell (AKA Assasins creed: Black ops), yeah is a nice gameplay, sure a good story, but where the fuck is the splinter cell?
even the new DMC can be good if they dont call it DMC...

Yeah, Blacklist is more like Ghost Recon, BF3, CoD or other generic fps. Also, Ubisoft should change title of Assassin's Creed III. It's a shame for that series, even bigger that relasing Revelations.

It looks very scripted and linear. Not that Tomb Raider was ever very open, but it just looks like the gameplay will be interrupted by a cutscene of Lara falling through floors, going in traps, branches breaking, things catching fire and stuff every five minutes. It doesn't really appeal to me. I'd like a more open game with exploration, puzzles and stuff like that.
EDIT: Okay I was a bit too quick too judge there, apparently it does have an open world, or at least i bunch 'hubs' with exploration. I guess I have to see more of that, though I'm still not happy about all the transitional cutscenes that abrupt the gameplay in the demos they've showed.

New Lara > Old Lara, (smaller boobs, more pretty face => too sexy)
And yeah, dont care about gameplay at all, just storyline and lara looks (idc even it'll be 2d platformer)
