Steam Guard is an old feature and it requires you to enter a code sent to your email whenever you login from a new PC/browser or after you clear your cookies. It's for security and it should always be turned on (FAQ on Steam Guard)
EDIT: No idea what the description thing is, never happened to me at all

Yeah, I know, the thing is, that it never required such information, this is the first time it did :)

Maybe it is a new feature after all? I cleared cookies many times, and it never did.
Maybe they added this as a form of captcha?

Hi guys, I am using steamguard, and today while typing the code to log in, additional message appeared, that Steamguard has not recognized my webbrowser, and that I should write at least 6 letters describing it, or it's name. This is new to me. That never happened to me before.
I am using same webbrowser as before.
Is this new feature? Has anyone else got it?
Thanks.
