Purdue! My brother goes there and he absolutely LOVES it! I'm not sure what Calumet is...is it a satellite of the main campus?

Oh, he's in West Lafayette...I'm not sure if there's a big difference between the two, but he has had an amazing time at Purdue. He's going to be a senior next year.

I don't go to Purdue myself, but from what I've heard it's the better choice.

I went to RIT for Computer Engineering. FANTASTIC program. Came out well ahead of most of my colleagues that went to other schools, partly because of the program, partly because of the co-op experience.

It really depends on what type of Engineering you are looking at undertaking because there is a great difference in the quality of the Engineering programs at the schools.

BTW - if you don't like wind or snow DO NOT go to RIT.

I went to Purdue's West Lafayette campus. Never been to Calumet but their engineering program should be top notch as well. Everyone works hard and plays even harder there. You'll certainly learn to push yourself and be surrounded by other motivated students. A word of caution, all my college roommates were in engineering and i saw their insane workload first hand. Most importantly though, Purdue's got great networks for employment. As an engineering student, their connections would be perfectly suited to aid you.
