Depends on what you mean by "worth drinking", hard liquor would take some time and have reduced quality if (we the apocalypse means we lose all of our technological advancements), but wine and beer are pretty easy (assuming you have crops/fruits)

Yes, I buy the yeast from specialized stores and choose the type based on the style of beer I'm brewing (this is usually specified in the recipe). I also buy sanitation materials there.

Even if you can find yeast, I don't know if you want to start with mead. Better brew something that doesn't require aging, like beer. Unless you're the (very) patient type ;-)

Fresh fruit & veggies. I know where to find apples & hazelnuts around here, plus raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries and a few other things, but other than those, I don't know where to find any fresh fruits & veggies.

Ability to talk to my friends at any time. ability to access any type of knowledge at any time (no matter it's about embroidery or fixing the car). Warm and/or clean water, electricity and cozy bed. Fresh veggies and fruits. BEER, jesus, I'd miss beer from the first day.
Safety. I'd miss safety - from other people, from the weather, from animals, from unwanted attention...
Fast travels between cities, countries. I love planes and trains so apocalyptic world without them is really sad.
Movies. And books. Oooh, and music, shitloads of music from my Spotify :|
That's why most of the post-apo scenarios aren't fun for me. I really like the life I have now ;)

The scenario could be like the walking dead. So no regular food supply. Your live would be basically just scavenging for survival.
